Forgotten last week – Patrick Chatterson, who  was presented with a STRIVE Scholarship of $400.00.  He plans on attending  U.W. Fond du Lac and then W.W. Milwaukee to study Art, History and perhaps education. 

Announcements (1)  Doug Bradley was presented with 2 Badger Tickets to N. Illinois football game.  Donated by Lee Prellwitz and won  on a raffle drawing.

                           (2) Productive Board meeting this morning.  Budget coming.

                           (3) Foundation Board meeting, next week.

                           (4) Tim Holtz & Karen Geisler will step up and serve as coordinators of our student

                                 exchange program, as Sue Finch Brown, has taken a position out of town.

(a)     Our new inbounder, a 16 yr. Old girl from Spain, will be with us next week. 

September 10 – David Sakrison and Peter Sensenbrenner  and new member search plan.

September 15 – SeptemberFest –Bill Boutwell informed us, we will serve sweet corn 12:00 noon to 5:00.

September 27 – Noah Schnell Harrison will report on his attendance at The World Affairs Conference.

September 30 – Dr. Andrew Josephs 30th birthday.  All be prepared to sing!! 

Happy Buck – Kim Holiday for her 23rd. wedding anniversary Saturday. Congratulations Kim!! 

Induction of new member—

                Rik Rikkers, who previously had been a member for 35 years and also a former President, was reinducted—his sponsor == Tom Worrall – Welcome Rik!! 

Sgt. at Arms – Rick is back and fleeced the whole crowd.  His quiz based on 1990 census (who remembers 1990??)  Rank population of cities 1-8.  The good thing!!  Our fine $$$ are given to provide lunch money and less fortunate kids.  New York, #1, #8 – St. Louis, Milwaukee #4. 

Program – Todd Goheen introduced Chris Meeker, son of Mike.  Chris presented a program on his work as an Iridologist.  Iridology is the study of the iris of the eye, particularly of its color, markings, changes, etc., as associated with disease.

                He learned from his grandfather.  He operates Healthy Solutions from his home, as the shop on West Fond du Lac, recently suffered a fire.

Thought for today:  Lord—when someone comes to me with a problem, give me the patience to listen, the compassion to understand and the wisdom to resist giving advice.  Amen
