Today’s Ripon Rotary’s meeting was at The American House in down town Ripon.

Greeter – Jeff Liddicoat assisted by Rik Rikkers.

President Lee lead us in Pledge of Allegiance and conducted the meeting. 

We had 3 guests with us:

(1)     Peggy Krenz – Nita’s Mom

(2)     Janira Romero – Spanish Inbounder who attended the Badger-Marquette basketball game and saw my Alma-Mater, Marquette, end the Badger Home game streak.

(a)     President Lee had me take $5.00 to hold for fellow M.U.Grad, John Rockwood, on the result of the game.

(1)     Ring Out AHOYA!!

(3)     Meghan Schuh – R.H.S. student of the month. 

Citrus Sale – Last year- 260 cases ---this year 275+ cases.

                                Get your sales money to Lee by next Monday!!, as it is our last meeting for 2007.

                Don’t forget your Bell Ringing assignments next week. 

Program:  Larry Trotter spoke on the changes to and of The American House since it’s opening, 17 years ago.

The service offered and now it’s In House preparation of meals.  Our lunch today consisted of tossed salad, broccoli salad, potato pancakes with applesauce, rolls and butter, corn, and stuffed pork rollups with cranberry relish and milk or coffee with dessert. All done in house.  Super!!    

                Larry, then showed the various types of apartments, to those who wished to see them.

                                                     Thanks, Larry, for this fine “taste & tour.” 

Board meeting next week at 11:00 a.m.

Next Monday – Greeter & prayer – A Board member

                            Program – “Cantible” from  R.H.S.- multicultural and Holiday music. 

Thought for today:  Heavenly Lord – I pray that my faith may never fail.  Remove the worries and care from my heart and remind me of Your love.  Amen.
