                Our Rotary Club meets each Monday at noon.  Come and meet and serve, that’s what we are about!!

Many guests today, most connected with the We The People program.  Bill Kinzer, and Pat Osowski, 3 students, Robyn Eddy, Courtney Parks and Noah Schnell-Harrison.  Judges – Dick Zellmer, Deano Pape and one other.  Hsisng Yiy Hsu (Daniel—our inbounder from Taiwan.  Brenden O’Obrien, new RHS student of month –honor student, trumpeter, football player and basketball player fresh off a 20 point basketball win over Berlin, and Aysia Platte – a possible outbounder and Nasif Rogers – Ripon College student of month. 

Announcements:

(1)     Next Monday February 19 – Board meeting.

(2)     Also next Monday – Red Cross Blood Bank at Mt. Zion Church 11:30a.m. to 5:30p.m.

(3)     Nita – Business Connection Social at Penn Travel.

(4)     Rotary Rose Day – March 28.  Sell at $15.00 per dozen – pick up at Horicon Bank 11a.m. to 3:00p.m.  Get your orders in before March 5.  Sale goal – 5 to 60 dozen. 

Sgt. at Arms:  No quiz, no fines, but pay attention to “We The People” presentation.  Coles will return next week. 

Dan Tjernagel presented a tiny T shirt and bib for his new baby!!

Our  March 5 meeting will be in house at R.M.C. 

Program:  Tim Lyke introduced Tanya Alling and 3 of the 13 team members from R.H.S. “We The People”, State Champs.  Robyn Eddy, Courtney Parks and Noah Schnell Harrison gave their understanding of the question  “Laws alone cannot secure freedom of expression; in order that every man may present his views without penalty there must be a spirit of tolerance in the entire population”  Do you agree or disagree with this statement?  Why?

                Then the judges questioned them and would in competition grade them accordingly.

                The Champion Team is planning on the Nationals to be held in Washington D.C.  They need $1500.00 more to make the trip.  Culver’s Fund Raiser, Tuesday February 20 – 4-9 p.m.  10% proceeds will go to We The People for their trip.                 These young people are sharp.    Thanks Tim

                Program – The Fond du Lac Rotary Club will provide a program  on a project  They are participating in Russia, helping establish businesses.

Thought for today:  God –You give me reasons to look forward to each new day.  I need Your Help to make a happy start for my loved ones.  Amen.
