Volume XXVII                                    Issue # 26                                                            Feb. 04, 2008

Ideas are funny little things …they won’t work unless you do.

Did you attend the meeting of your Ripon Rotary Club – 12:00 noon at Royal Ridges?  If not, why not?

Greeter and Prayer today by Pru Prescourt:  this was Pru’s last meeting with us today, as she is leaving for her new position in Pennsylvania.  Bon Voyage, Pru.

Our President, Lee Prellwitz, at the podium.

Our guests today were (1) Janira Romero – Spanish inbounder.

                                        (2) Anne Jankowski – R.H.S. Student of the month.  Her parents will host Janira,

next.  Anne is President of the Student Council, a very musical student, hopes

to further her education at Madison of Lawrence, eventually leading to a career

                                           in medicine.

Make-ups – Hank Grams remains 100% by this makeup in Berlin.

Diane Shady reports her daughter, Sarah, received a $1,000.00 scholarship.

Todd Goheen announced our Rose pick up day, March 5 – 10:00 to 3:00 at Horicon Bank.  $15.00 per dozen.  Club hopes to sell 650 dozen.  Be ready to report sales next Monday.  Sell Many!!

(4)     Lisa Hale – Sponsored by Pru Precourt.

Our Scholarship Banquet will be held at C.J.’s on April 14.

Program:  Tommy Hobbs introduced  Dr. David Eggert, Orthopedic Surgeon and his nurse Sharon Lyons.  They proceeded to give a most interesting and informative program on shoulder pain.  Complete with power point illustrations of the most complex joint of the body.  Anatomic explanations  and various treatment modalities were explained also.

Dr. Eggert emphasized the importance of relationships in his work with patients, communities, schools, etc.  His first patient seen in Ripon was our own Dr. LeRoy Yeomans, who had treated him  when a student at Ripon College.        Thanks, Tommy, for this excellent program.

Next Week:   Greeter & Prayer – John Rohde

Program – Pru Precourt – Pru presents Dr. Patricia Sias of R. M. C.

Thought for today:

God—I am often quick to see the faults of others.  Now help me see my own just as clearly and teach me how to correct those faults.  Amen.

The darkest hour is just before you are overdrawn.
