Special Award – For Daniel, Rick Coles, Tom Worrall, Lori Rich, Jane Schueler, Laurie Kasuboski and Lee Prellwitz, as members of “The Drowned Rats Society”, who cleaned up the HiWay, rain soaked last Saturday. They all received a certificate of membership. That’s Service Above Self. Program – 2 Part Part I – Daniel gave an excellent power point presentation on his native Taiwan. It included maps of Taiwan, descriptions of the country, its National Parks, its foods, its schools, his family and his home. In Taiwan he was in school from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.-3 week vacation during Chinese New Year and 2 month Vacation in summer. Great job, Daniel. Today he also prepared Taiwanese Hot & Mild Curried Pork. Part II –Kim Holliday introduced .Sous Chef Robert Carriveau, who described his preparation of Bananas Foster atop Ice Cream filled Crepes. Wallah!! Delicious!! Chef Robert & Kim even gave us a booklet, complete with recipes and pictures. Thanks so much Kim and Chef Robert. P.S. Hank grams and John Rockwood even enjoyed 2 servings. Those who didn’t attend today, missed something very special. Thanks, Thanks, Thanks!!! No Sgt at Arms today – But, he will be back Next week: Greeter & Prayer – Dr. Roy Yeomens Program – Tom Worrall brings Rotarian John St. Peter of Fond du Lac noon Rotary Club for 30 years. John will provide a few introductory comments regarding the Paul Harris Awards. Thought for Today: Lord – remind me that the needs of others are just as great as mine.
