Tis St. Patrick’s Day!!  An Irish Blessing !!  May the blessed light be on you, light without and light within.  May the blessed sunlight shine on you and warm your heart until it glows like a great fire, so that a stranger may come and warm himself at it, and also a friend.  May God always bless you, love you and keep you.

                Bill announced he will be a write in candidate for the Ripon Area School Board.

(2)     Tyler Vorpagel –of Congressman Petri’s Fond du Lac Office. 

Kim Holliday – back from 10 days in Panama with Fr. Wally, indicates the work group, roofed the nuns house, helped hoist trusses with ropes, did electrical & plumbing on the building.  She will present a program, to us, in April.  She is also going to present her program to other groups, thereby seeking more financial help for Fr. Wally. 

Kathy Ginder – each member given tickets to sell for our scholarship banquet.  It is Mandatory that each Rotarian sell or buy at least 2 tickets. Raffle, prizes, silent auction and other entertainment.  Monday April 14 at C.J.’s.  $11.00 per. 

Lisa Hale seeking nominations for R.M.C. Community Service Award. 

Doug Bradley thanked David Sakrison, Tom Huber, Nita Krenz and Tom Worrall for serving at mentors  at the last STRIVE meeting.  Next STRIVE meeting, April 3 – Oshkosh YMCA and rock climbing!! 

Bill Boutwell announced his candidacy for the Green Lake School Board.

July 23 – Berlin-Ripon Rotary Golf Tourney at Tuscumbia—all proceeds to Fr. Wally project.

Design Choices for Rotary Sign at Ingalls Field passed around to check your choice.

Finlands answer to St. Patricks Day – yesterday St. Urho in honor of Doug Bradleys wife.

Rick Coles for his daughter’s successful intestinal surgery at R.M.C. 

Sgt at Arms:  Rick Coles and St. Pat’s Quiz.  2 tables, no pay.  3 tables pay. 

Program—David Sakrison gave a thorough presentation including a 6 minute movie on the ultra-light led migration of whooping cranes.  In 1946 there was only 14 of these majestic birds.  They are an endangered species and today there are 400+.                              Thanks David!!
