Program:  Dr. Randy Zeith introduced Mary Beth Growney-Selene, fellow Rotarian of Madison West Club.  Her passion for the Rotary Foundation led her to be the Regional Co-coordinator.  She is not paid to do this.  Another wonderful of example of “Service Above Self”.  An exceptionally fine speaker.  She thoroughly explained the financial workings of the Foundation with power point.  If we continue to give, we have many ways of “getting back”, through grants, scholarships, etc.  If you missed this one, you missed a fine program!!.  Goal – Every Rotarian Every Year!!.

Thought for today:  God,-- grant me the patience to listen to my loved ones as they tell me about their disappointments.  I need to remember what seems trivial to me, is very important to them.  Show me how to be supportive.  Amen

Winning a hot argument has lost many a warm friend.
