That Lee appear as Robinhood ala’ green tights, didn’t fly.  Need a volunteer to lead windows, as chairman for a Rotary Window.

Program:  Tommy Hobbs introduced Paul Boeder, M.D. gynecologist at R.M.C., Specialty Clinic, who spoke with power point on Teenage Pregnancy.

Kids don’t change, Society changes.  34% of girls become pregnant before age of 20.  The rate of teenage pregnancy, in the U.S., doubles that in Europe.  How do we educate??

(1)     Abstinence Only,

(2)     Stressed abstinence.

(3)     Sex education.

As was pointed out, in a city in Maine, condoms are offered to 11 year olds!!  Abstinence is the only sure means of prevention!!.  We were taught that 70 years ago!!

Thank you, Dr. Boeder and Tommy, for an excellent presentation.

Next Week: - Greeter & Prayer – Tim Holz

Program – Lunch & learn with the League of Women Voters and Local Government.

Thought for today:  Dear Lord – there are times when I need assurance that I can depend on You for all my needs.  Give me the courage to let You control my life.  Amen.

Some people are always forgetting.  For getting this and for getting that.
