                                  While the traditional goals of national and international service were not neglected,
                                   the emphasis in Ripon Rotary is on the local community. 
                                   Some of the projects undertaken and carried to successful conclusion are:  

From year to year, Ripon Rotary has taken on a variety of projects too numerous to describe fully. Following is a partial listing of those not otherwise recognized:

  • Ripon College professor, Curt Pulsifer, nominated by Ripon Rotary to be a member of Rotary International District Study Team to visit Brazil
  • Sponsored Career Day at Ripon High School
  • Hosted Farm Appreciation Day
  • Conducted skating contest on Mill Pond
  • Entertained elderly at nursing home and Royal Ridges
  • Selected and referred candidate for foreign study graduate fellowships - five selected from Ripon College in an 8 year period
  • Participated in Silver Creek clean-up
  • Initiated classification talks for new member in 1989
  • Published member's handbook, providing membership roster and other data
  • Created Club "Sunshine Committee"
