Language is the expression of thought.  Every time you speak, your mind is on parade.

It’s 9/11 – the day no American should forget!!.   Today is our Rotary Club meeting at Royal Ridges 12:00 noon – to be greeted by Charlie Larson, who also gave prayer. Happy Birthday to your Dad Charlie.

Announcements:

(1)     Hank  100% Grams made up at Wautoma

(2)     Bill Denkert has 8-4packs of tickets to the Milwaukee Home Show

(3)     Laura Kasuboski has tickets for the Annual Ripon United Way Annual buffet at the Republican House.

(4)     Larry Trotter – Update on daughter – they don’t believe the tumor has grown and that it is cancerous.  Thanks for prayers.

(5)     Pray for Dan Ige’s wife Sue and also his father.

(6)     Dan Tjernagel introduced our new Inbounder from Taiwan , “Daniel” and Erin Mellinthin, the R.H.S. student of the month.  The Tjernagel’s have a new adopted daughter, only 4 weeks old.  Gabriel Grace, who was only 6 hours old when they got her.

(7)     Doug Bradley encourages Rotarians to attend next STRIVE meeting, Thursday September 21 at R.H.S. to show our support for the program. 

Rotary Board meeting next week, following week, Rotary Foundation Board meeting. 

Rich Carley paid a happy buck to pitch his sale of  “The Sgt. Andrew Wallace Scholarship Fund” raffle tickets.  He will have them for sale at next weeks meeting too.!!  Thanks to those who purchased them – it’s

Sgt at Arms – Rick Coles and a quiz on Ripon College Administrators.  Cost our table $1.00 each.  Enuff said!! 

Program:  Todd Goheen presented his friend, Vic Mueller, and a most interesting program on gemstones.  Vic goes all over the world to procure rough stones, which he then processes into beautiful gems.  Example – ruby, sapphire, opal, garnet, white topaz, amethyst, taganite and quinzite. He is also an avid hunter and fisherman.    Thanks Todd and Vic!!
