We began our meeting with a moment of silence honoring Father Wally, the priest that we have supported for many years in many ways for his work with providing water ways in Panama.

Our guests included visiting Rotarians: Orlo Bierman from Green Lake and Tom Boyson from Wautoma.

Today's Program:
David Chandler from MAF talked to us about this organization. Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) desires to see isolated people changed by the love of Christ by serving together to bring help, hope, and healing through aviation.

We learned that they help in many ways that include working with other organizations to help people around the world. Some ways that they assist include: disaster response; technology; making disciples; Bible translation; aviation and technology related training; medical care; community development; education; and church support.

The EAA (happening right now in Oshkosh) has a group called MASA that brings in members of the MAF for the event that education people at their booth and also goes out into local organizations and churches to do presentations during the week. You can help host MAF members at future EAA events by contacting Nevin Webster - Exec Dir - (920) 344-7512.
